The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the official answer keys for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET 2022 very soon. So far, the board has already released the question paper along with the response sheets. Candidates who have already appeared for the examination can now download the question paper and responses using their application number, date of birth, and password from ctet.nic.in.

However, the primary concern of the candidates is when they can get the CTET answer key 2022. There has been false information that the answer keys have been released. This is untrue and one should not keep an eye on the official updates.

CTET Answer Key Release Date

It becomes important to know the previous years’ trends to know when one can expect the answer keys. Until 2020, the answer keys were released along with the question paper and response sheets on the same day. The dates on which the answer keys were released previously are:

YearAnswer Key Release Date
2020February 19, 2021
2019December 27, 2019
2018December 28, 2018
2017–
2016September 18, 2016

In 2018 and 2016, the CTET answer key was released on the same day as the question paper and response sheet. Nevertheless, since the same pattern was not seen this year, it is likely that there might a minimum delay. In this regard, the expected duration by which the answer keys may be expected is February 01, 2022.

What after that?

The CTET answer key 2022 that will be released in the upcoming days will be the provisional ones. As such, candidates will be given the opportunity to submit challenges or representations against the same by paying a stipulated fee.

However, the official information bulletin says that the answer keys will only be hosted on the website for just two or three days.

Upon receiving the challenges and representations, the subject experts will review them. Once the process is done, the final answer key will be released. Please note that only paid challenges will be accepted and that too within the stipulated time. If the challenges are submitted by any other medium, then they are not going to be considered. Once the CTET 2021 result is declared, no grievance shall be entertained. The results will be in accordance with the final answer key.
