The one thing that is being asked time and again by test takers of West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET) 2022 is the expected result date for WB SET 2022. As of now, there is no official announcement regarding this by the commission itself. However, one thing is clear the result is not going to be released until the final answer key is released by the commission. This means there is no result at least till February 06, 2022.
WB SET 2022 Result Date
In the last four WBSET exams, the result has been declared as early as 13 days after answer key, and as late as 169 days later.
If WBCSC follows a timeline similar to last year, then the result should be announced in the last week of June 2022. However, if the commission is quick like the 2018 exam, then the result should be announced in the first week of April 2022.
The quickest instance of WBSET result declaration was of the 2017, when result was announced just 28 days after the exam, 13 days after answer key – and if WBCSC is as fast this time then result can be expected in February itself.
West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) held the WB SET (State Eligibility Test) on January 9. Then released the answer key on January 25. The authorities have also sought candidates’ objections against the wrong answers available on the official website by February 06, 2022.
Post receiving the objections against the answer key of WB SET 2022 the authorities shall release the final answer key. The date for the release of the final answer key is not yet disclosed as of now. And then, finally, the WB SET 2022 result will be announced.

With the above data, one thing is clear there is no definite number of days or months that we could assume for the result. This implies it is up to the commission and its speed to compile data that decides the probable result release date for WB SET 2022. However, one thing is sure the result shall not take more than 3 to 4 months after the final answer key is released.
Meanwhile, candidates can calculate their marks for WB SET 2022 with the minimum qualifying marks prescribed for their category to know their selection status. The minimum qualifying marks for the unreserved category is 40% of the total marks and for the reserved category, it is 35% of the total marks. Those whose tentative marks are more than or equal to these shall be considered successful in the exam.
