Uttar Pradesh Secondary Service Selection Board has released the TGT (Biology) admit card on its official website upsessb.org. The admit card has been released for the Advt 01/2016 for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher, Biology (TGT Biology). The candidates who have applied for the said post, now can check and download their admit cards online. The admit cards will remain available till July 31, 2021. The examination of TGT Biology will be held on July 31, 2021.
In order to download the TGT admit card, candidates will have to visit the website upsessb.org. Thereafter, they will have to press the link “Click here to download admit card” available below Admit Card (Advt 01/2016 TGT Biology). Doing so will lead them to a new portal – pariksha.up.nic.in. Then the candidates will have to click on the link for downloading admit cards for the TGT biology examination (Advt No 01/2016 TGT Biology), below the “Admit Cards, Results, and Important Declarations” tab. To access the admit card, the candidate registration number, date of birth, gender, and verification code are required.

In case students facing problems in downloading the admit card, they can also reach out to the control room of the selection board via contact no- 0532- 2466851 or mobile 8299325775.

The admit card will contain information like candidate name, roll number, exam center, exam date and time, and general instructions printed on it. All the candidates will have to ensure the details given in the admit card are correct. Candidates will have to appear for the exam at the same centre, date, and time printed on the admit card.

The selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the written examination and interview. UP TGT recruitment examination will be based on the prescribed syllabus and consist of 200 multiple-choice type questions. The exam will be divided into two parts, part I will carry questions related to English or Hindi, whereas, in part II questions will be subject-specific and from general knowledge.
The candidates who qualify in the written exam will have to further appear for the Interview. The written exam will carry 85% weightage in the final selection, followed by 10% of the interview and 5 percent of additional qualifications. The selected candidates will be eligible to draw a salary up to Rs 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,600.
The recruitment drive for filling up of TGT and PGT posts under advertisement numbers- 01/2016 and 02/2016 respectively was started in the year 2016. Under advt 01/2016, a total of 304 posts of TGT Biology will be filled. The window for online applications opened on June 06 and remained live till July 05, 2016.
