Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced the revised dates for the Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNVS) Class 6 entrance exam 2021. Accordingly, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 11, 2021, across all states and Union Territories (UTs) in the country. The entrance exam is to be conducted in accordance with all the COVID-19 norms sand safety protocols issued by the health ministry. While the JNVS 2021 exam date has been announced, authorities have not disclosed the exact date for release of admit cards. However, based on previous year trends, candidates can determine the tentative date by which admit cards will be released on the official website navodaya.gov.in.
What are the previous-year trends?
In 2019, the JNVS Class 6 entrance exam was scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 06, 2021, across the country. Admit cards for the same were released on March 02, 2021, on the official website Navodaya.gov.in. Here, there was a 35-day gap between admit card release and exam date.
Again, for JNVS Class 6 Phase 2, the entrance exam was planned to be held on January 01, 2020. Admit cards for the same were released on December 09, 2019 – 23 days before the national-level admission test.
In 2021, the JNVS exam was previously scheduled on May 16, 2021, across all states and UTs except Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya. Admit cards for the same were released on April 13, 2021. While the exam later on, got postponed, there was a gap of 33 days between the two events.
Tentative date for JNVS 2021 admit card release
With merely 20 days for the JNVS Class 2021 entrance exam, these timelines cannot be followed. However, there are two possibilities for admit card release – 1. JNVS authorities release the admit cards within 2-3 days of the entrance exam, preferably between August 8-9, 2021, and 2. Admit cards are released within this week or next week, by July 27, 2021.
As seen in case of previous exams, NVS prefers to give a considerable amount of time to students to download their admit cards. Therefore, the second possibility stated above is highly possible.
