In its latest press release, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a tentative date for declaring the UGC NET result 2022. The press release was published yesterday and it said that the result declaration process is underway and will be announced within two days. This roughly translates to the fact that the results will be available by tomorrow, i.e. February 18, 2022, though there is a high possibility even today. Hence, it is likely that the candidates are in tenterhooks and hence, they should keep an eye on the official website for all updates.
Expected Time
Over the years, the time at which the results were declared has changed. While for some years, the results have been announced during the afternoon, in others, the time has even stretched till evening. As a result, it becomes important to check the previous year timings for reference.
Year | Result Date | Tentative Time |
2020 | December 01, 2020 | Before 1 PM |
2019 | December 31, 2019 | Before 6 PM |
2018 | January 06, 2019 | Evening |
2017 | January 02, 2018 | Evening |
2016 | July 06, 2016 | Before 12 Noon |
Considering the delay that has been hovering over the UGC NET result 2022, it can be speculated that the results are going to be announced any time in the evening, tentatively after 6 PM. Nevertheless, this is just speculation and hence, candidates should pay heed only to the official updates.
