The SIDBI Grade A Exam was conducted today, April 16, and the admit card was earlier released on April 7, 2022. 100 vacancies have been announced under the exam this time for the Assistant Manager posts of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). the exam was for a duration of 180 minutes and the analysis by various educators and coaching institutes as well as student feedback has been released.
SIDBI Grade A Exam Analysis 2022
As per various students, the examination was moderately difficult, subject-wise: Quantitative Analysis was moderate level, English was easy to level, Reasoning was also of moderate level, while General Awareness was moderately difficult.
Subject-wise exam analysis
General Awareness
The questions were taken from the ESI and finance concepts under General Awareness. The majority of the questions under current affairs and general awareness were from the last 3 months, which is a regular pattern under the Grade A exam. Questions were also included from reports and indexes. Around 5-10 questions were taken from schemes and government policies. Total expenditure and budget-based questions were also included in the exam. A number of good attempts were rounded off to 23-26 as per educators. Data-based questions were given more emphasis.
Reasoning Ability
The number of good attempts in reasoning ability was set as 26-29, and the difficulty level was easy to moderate. Scheduled-based questions were included, along with circular seating arrangements and month and order-based puzzles. The concepts of Syllogism, Inequality, Coding-Decoding, Alphanumeric series, and logical reasoning were also included.
Quantitative Analysis
The section was moderately difficult, and the number of good attempts was 25-28. Approximation and quadratic equations were found to be easy, while number series and data interpretation was moderate to difficult. The section covered mostly all topics as prescribed in the syllabus given before the exam.
English Language
The questions covered under the section are easy to moderate, with good attempts being 20-23. Similar to quantitative ability, most topics from the prescribed syllabus were included.
Descriptive Writing
The topics given in descriptive writing were found to be easy-moderate. Under essay-writing the following topics were included –
- Cryptocurrency: Pros , Cons & future in India.
- Are banks able to implement financial inclusion successful?
- Is GST calculation which is done and implemented all over India is that good.
- Population and environmental explosion today.
- Hunger and society.
- Is economics today interconnected.
- How u will stop rural to urban population transfer.
Under letter-writing the following topics were included –
- Write a complaint letter for a defective laptop.
- Write a complaint letter to the supplier for the late delivery of your order.
- Write a letter of appreciation and gratitude to the government.
