The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) conducted the SEBI Grade A Phase 1 examination on February 20, 2022, across various centers in the country. The examination constitutes the first stage in the three-step selection process and was conducted in a computer-based mode. The result of the Phase 1 examination is expected to be published in the second week of March, as the Phase 2 examination (mains) is scheduled to be conducted on March 20, 2022.
The candidates who appeared for the examination are in search of the answer keys to cross-check their responses. Various coaching institutes and educators have released the unofficial answer keys on their websites and Youtube channels for the reference of the candidates.
SEBI Grade A Phase 1 Answer Key
It must be noted that SEBI will not be releasing any official answer keys for the Grade A examination. Hence, candidates will have to depend on the answer key and analysis prepared by various institutes. Several educators like Byju’s, EduTap, Crack Grade B, ixamBee, Abhipedia, etc., have released a detailed analysis of the examination along with the answer keys for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Phase 1 or prelims examination consisted of two papers. Paper 1 was common to all streams with a total of 100 marks to be awarded for questions based on General Awareness, English, Reasoning, and Quantitative aptitude. The paper was of a duration of 60 minutes and the minimum cut-off for this paper will be 30%. Paper 2 was core subject specific which accounts for a total of 100 marks to be completed in 40 minutes. The qualifying marks for Paper 2 will be 40%. The aggregate cut-off to qualify for Phase 2 (mains) of the examination is 40%. Phase 3 of the examination will be a Group Discussion and Interview round.
SEBI conducts the examination to recruit eligible candidates to the post of Assistant Manager across various disciplines such as General, Legal, IT, Engineering, Research, etc.
