The Union Public Service Commission has successfully conducted the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2022. Candidates had to appear for the examination over two shifts. While the examination for paper 1 was held from 10 AM to 12 Noon, paper 2 took place in the afternoon session from 2 PM to 5 PM. However, right after the conclusion of the exam, candidates seem to be in search of the answer keys to analyze their performance.
ESE 2022 Answer Key
Although the unofficial answer keys are not yet available, candidates can still go through the ones that are released by coaching centres and private websites. One such institute is IES Master. This institute is one of the top coaching centres that provide teaching and preparation methodology for some of the top engineering exams like ESE, GATE, and PSUs. As such, IES Master has released the ESE 2022 answer key on its official website – iesmaster.org.
How to download?
Candidates who have appeared for the UPSC ESE 2022 examination can download the answer keys and crosscheck the answers to have an idea of a tentative score. To know how to download the same, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Go to the official website of IES Master at iesmaster.org
Step 2- On the right-hand side of the page, click on the ‘View Solutions’ button under the heading ‘UPSC ESE Prelims 2022’.

Step 3- A new page will open containing the answer keys, detailed solution, and question paper of each subject of the examination.
Step 4- Click on the desired option after which a pop-up menu will appear.
Step 5- Enter name, email ID, mobile number and then select the stream.
Step 6- Click on the ‘Next’ button to check and download the answer keys with solutions.

As understood from the UPSC ESE 2022 prelims exam pattern, the total marks of the question paper are 500. For every correct answer, 01 mark will be given. In case the answer is incorrect, then 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted from the question. Using this marking pattern, one can get an idea of the expected score.
Once the official answer keys are released, candidates should check the same from the official website – upsc.gov.in. A total of 247 vacancies are going to be filled via the recruitment examination, this year. Candidates who qualify for the preliminary round have to appear for the main examination.
