After much wait and anticipation, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to release the NTPC Result 2022 on January 15, 2022. News reports are yet to claim any postponement on this date. So, it is safe to assume that results will be announced through the online mode, on the official website rrbcdg.gov.in. Candidates can also check their shortlisting status on the RRB regional website such as rrbald.gov.in (for Allahabad), rrbsecunderabad.nic.in for Secunderabad, etc. Those who qualify for the computer-based test (CBT) 1 will be eligible to appear for CBT-2. The latter is tentatively scheduled from February 14 to 18, 2022.
RRB NTPC 2022 Expected Cut-Off
While waiting for the RRB NTPC 2022 results to come out, candidates can take a look at the expected cut-offs derived by experts and educators online. Although these cut-offs may differ from the actual figures by 2-3 marks, it will still provide an idea about the range within which a candidate needs to score. This range is the safe zone and is different depending on the candidate’s category. Following is a table depicting the expected category-wise cut-offs –

RRB had initially, conducted the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) CBT-1 examination in a phase-wise manner from December 28, 2020, to July 31, 2021. Results were supposed to come out in the next month itself. However, a delay occurred due to technical and administrative reasons which have not been deliberately cited. So, as per the recent official update, results will be announced on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
