The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has revised the vacancies for the Non-technical Popular Categories or NTPC posts. This revision has been done for the RRB NTPC ‘CEN-01/2019’ notification. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can now check the revised vacancies from the table attached below. Before that, it must be noted that the notice regarding the revision of vacancies is only available on the official website of RRB Malda and not on any other website.

The entire revision has been done based on two features. Firstly, ex-serviceman vacancies have been up to 10% of total vacancies. Secondly, the PwBD vacancy has been reduced to Zero for category number 3 in level 5. It has been advised that the candidates keep an eye on the respective websites of RRBs for regular updates.

Reportedly, the RRBs are going to announce the results of the examinations held for NTPC posts on January 15. Candidates who have appeared for the CBT 1 examination between December 2020 to July, 2021 will be able to check the results from the official websites of the RRBs. Those candidates who will qualify for CBT 1 are going to be eligible for CBT 2. However, the second stage or CBT 2 is likely to be held in February, 2022. This again depends on the government guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

To check the results, candidates will have to visit the respective RRB websites where the result link will be activated on the stipulated date. Candidates will have to click on the link after which a PDF will open from where they can check the results. Needless to mention, it is advised that the candidates refer only to the official website for checking the results.
