REET 2022
Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is an annual examination held in the state for recruiting teachers at level 1 or 2 in the schools of Rajasthan. Earlier, the validity of the certificate was 3 years however the same has been now increased to lifetime. Apart from this, this examination is now just an eligibility test and nothing more than that. Candidates who clear the REET 2022 examination are given appointments as teachers in level 1 (primary) and level 2 (upper primary) in different schools in Rajasthan. Candidates can find the official syllabus and REET exam pattern on the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Earlier, last year, the examination was conducted by the board. However, citing the alleged paper leak, the recruitment process for REET level 2 was scrapped. Candidates who successfully cleared the level 1 examination have now been summoned to appear in the document verification conducted by the board. Whereas, the government has ordered to conduct REET Level 2 again. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had guaranteed a stricter recruitment process, more vacancies and had called for anti-cheating measures in the re-conducting of the examination.
