Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently complete the online application process for the Assistant 2022 recruitment drive. The application process was conducted on the official website rbi.org.in, from February 17 to March 08, 2022. All those who registered for the recruitment drive will have to appear for a preliminary online test on March 26 and 27, 2022. This preliminary exam is a part of a 2-stage recruitment drive for inducting eligible candidates for filling a total of 950 vacancies.
Although the RBI Assistant 2022 preliminary exam is just two weeks away, bank authorities are yet to announce the exact date for issuing call letters. So, to get a tentative idea about this date, candidates can refer o past-year trends.
RBI Assistant 2022 Exam Date
As per the official website, the RBI Assistant 2022 preliminary exam is scheduled for March 26 and 27, 2022. The test will be held online, at selected centers across the country. Candidates will be expected to mark the right option for each question, on their screen.
Those who qualify the RBI Assistant 2022 preliminary exam will be shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment drive i.e., the main examination. This stage will be tentatively organized in May 2022. The exact dates will be updated on the official website, in due course of time.
RBI Assistant 2022 Admit Card Release Date
On the basis of the official schedule, the RBI Assistant 2022 preliminary exam is going to be conducted on March 26 and 27, 2022. So, admit cards are likely to come out 10 days prior, on May 16, 2022. This is based on the sequence of events transpiring in 2020.
In the year 2020, RBI conducted a similar recruitment drive for filling-up vacancies under the assistant post. The preliminary exam was scheduled on February 12, 2022, and admit cards were issued 10 days prior i.e., on February 02, 2022. This sequence of events is expected to follow suit, this year.

While waiting for the issuance of call letters, candidates must take note of certain important points mentioned below –
# Once released, candidates shall receive an intimation of admit card release via email (on their registered email ID) or SMS (on their registered mobile number).
# Candidates can access their RBI Assistant 2022 call letters by entering their Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth.
# Prior to the preliminary exam, aspirants must affix their recently-clicked photograph in the space provided on their call letter.
# In addition to call letters, candidates must also carry their Photo ID to the assigned exam center.
