Railway Releases RRB NTPC Mock Test 2020; Admit Card Out on 24 Dec

The candidates can practice the mock tests to understand the pattern of the computer based test and get familiar with the test process.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the link for RRB NTPC mock tests on their respective websites. The link has been activated for the aspirants of Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment – CEN 01/2019. The NTPC CBT-1 exam will be held from December 28, 2020, onwards. The mock tests has been released to provide candidates an idea about how the test and question paper will be.

The mock test of RRB NTPC is available in various languages like Assamese, Bengali, English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Telugu, Urdu, and Tamil.

To access the mock tests the candidates do not need to use any login details. Candidates just need to visit the official website of regional RRB and click on “Mock Test” button, under CEN 01/2019. After opening the mock test window candidates just have to click on the “sign-in” button and the mock test will start.

The candidates who have registered for the exam and whose exam is scheduled in phase 1 have already been issued the exam city and date intimation slip on December 18, 2020. Those candidates who have not been allotted exam dates in phase 1 gets a message as “Dear Candidate, you are not scheduled in the present phase. Please wait for the intimation from RRBs”. The message is displayed after the candidates logging into their accounts. To login registration number and date of birth are required.

The admit card of RRB NTPC will be issued from December 24, 2020, as the RRB has notified that the admit card will be available 4 days prior to the respective exam dates of the candidates. Only 24 lakh out of the 1.26 crore candidates have been allotted exam dates in phase 1. Overall 1.26 crore candidates have applied the recruitment.

The phase 1 exams will end on January 13, 2021. The dates for phase 2 exams will be announced later. Around 1.03 crore candidates will get exam dates in the next phases.

The 1st stage computer based test is a qualifying exam in RRB NTPC. Those who get cut off marks in it will have to further appear in the 2nd stage CBT.

The exam of RRB NTPC stage 1 will be of a total 90 mins duration. 120 minutes will be given to eligible PwBD candidates with scribe. There will be 100 objective type questions, with 1 marks for a correct answer and 1/3 negative marking for the wrong answer. 40 questions will come from General Awareness and 30 each from General Intelligence & Reasoning and Mathematics.

All the RRB exams will be held as per COVID guidelines. There will be social distancing protocols, and temperature check measures.

RRB NTPC exam is being conducted to fill up 35,208 vacancies of Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, Traffic Assistant, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, among others in multiple phases.
