Indian Army, Officers Training Academy (OTA) is recruiting candidates for the various posts such as Carpenter, Cook, Laboratory Attendant and others. For this recruitment, Indian Army has announced a total of 85 vacancies for Officer Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, Bihar. Shortlisting of aspirants for the advertised posts is based on the written exam and trade test. The written exam will take place for 02 hours carrying 150 questions. Each question will carry 01 marks. There will be 04 papers in the written examination – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, General English and Numerical Aptitude. The questions from this section will be asked bilingually except for the language section. Exact date, time and venue for the written examination will be intimated to candidates later on. thereafter, they have to appear for the trade test.
Candidates who are interested in the recruitment can submit their applications for OTA Gaya through an offline process. Aspirants can fill the form in English or Hindi language as per their preference. The duly filled application should be submitted to the Commandant Officers Training Academy, Gaya Bihar, PIN- 823005. Along with the form, applicants have to also submit certain documents. These include – educational certificate, caste certificate, medical certificate, photocopy of discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen and disability certificate.
Along with Indian Army application form, candidates also have to submit one 12 x 18 cm self-addressed envelope affixed with Rs. 25/- postage stamp. Moreover, applicants must clearly superscribe “Application for the post of ___” on the top of the envelope in capital letters.
Indian Army has specified the age limit to apply for these posts. Those who are applying for the Groundsman, Barber, Cinema Projectionist, Cook, Cycle Repairer, EBR, Groom, Masalchi, MTS chowkidar, MTS Gardener, MTS Safaiwala, MTS Messenger, and Washerman, applicants’ age should be between the age range of 18 years to 25 years. For the rest of the posts, the age limit is from 18 years to 27 years.
