Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released a short notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellowship. Candidates can get the DRDO recruitment notification from the official website only, drdo.gov.in. Moreover, the conducting body invites online applications from M.Sc candidates to fill 06 vacant posts of Junior Research Fellowship. The last date to submit applications for DRDO DIBER Recruitment is December 31, 2020.
The post of Junior Research Fellow is announced under the various departments of DRDO Defence Institute of Bio Energy Research. These include Agriculture Science (02), Microbiology (01), Biotechnology (02) and Chemistry (01). All the posts are available only for a short period of time. Candidates will be recruited for 02 years which is extended as per the rules and requirements. They will also receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/-.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the advertised posts based on the interview. As per the notification, the interview will take place online via video conferencing over the internet. So, applicants have to ensure that they have a good internet connection and apt laptop. However, the date of DRDO JRF interview is not yet announced. After the final selection candidates will be posted at DIBER HQ, Haldwani.
Before appearing for the interview candidates have to submit the application form. To do so, candidates first have to visit the official website of DRDO to get the application form. The duly filled DRDO DIBER application should be submitted via prescribed email address – director@diber.drdo.in. In the application form, aspirants are suggested to enter the type of fellowship and advertisement number carefully. Applicants that are received after the last date of the submission of the application form are not accepted under any circumstances.
To apply for the said posts, candidates have to make sure that they meet the specified eligibility criteria. Those who have M.Sc in horticulture/ Vegetable Science/ Agronomy/ Soil Science in the first division can apply for JRF Agriculture Science. Along with this, they should also have qualified NET exam. Candidates who have M.Sc in Microbiology with a NET qualification are eligible to apply for JRF Microbiology post. To apply for JRF Biotechnology should have M.Sc qualification with NET qualification or ME/ M.Tech in Biotechnology and postgraduate level. Applicants must have M.Sc in Chemistry in first division with NET qualification to apply for JRF chemical. They also have to ensure that they do not exceed that age limit of 26 years as on the last date to submit applications
