LBS Centre for Science and Technology is all set to begin the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022 application process today, October 20, 2021. The registration process is going to be conducted through the online mode on the official website lbsedp.lbscentre.in. While the exact time for the commencement of Kerala SET 2022 registration is not known, the official portal does specify that it will begin today evening.
The notice in the “Online Registration” section of the website lbsedp.lbscentre.in/setjan22/ reads “Starts from 20-10-2021 evening only”.
Candidates will have around 11 days to fill and submit their online application form as registration is going to close on October 30, 2021, 5:00 pm. However, they will receive two extra days i.e., up to November 02, 2021, 5:00 pm, to pay their application fee. Application fee is Rs 1000 for general, OBC candidates, and Rs 500 for SC, ST, differently abled.
Candidates who wish to avail the scribe facility or any relaxation in the Kerala SET 2022 scores are expected to send a printout of their application form along with a copy of the medical certificate to the LBS Centre. This certificate must be issued and attested by a Gazetted officer. Only after proper proof and verification of disability will a candidate be allowed to apply for the scribe facility.
Apart from understanding how to apply for the Kerala SET 2022 examination, candidates must also take note of the following three important instructions.
Firstly, the candidate’s name must be filled in accordance with the format specified in the SSLC book or marksheet. This is because if qualified, the SET certificate will be issued only in the name specified by the candidate.
Secondly, candidates are advised to carefully fill in two details in the Kerala SET 2022 examination – 1. District opted as centre for eligibility test and 2. Subject opted for the test.
And finally, a candidate will have to appear for the exam in the district which they have chosen. Hence, filling this category correctly is of utmost importance.
All candidates are also advised to go through the information brochure carefully before filling the application form.
Once the application form releases, eligible candidates can register for the Kerala SET 2022 examination by following the steps given below –
Step 1: Register on the official portal lbsedp.lbscentre.in by entering the One-Time-Password received.
Step 2: After successfully registering, fill the online application form. Note down the Registration ID after submitting the online form.
Step 3: Upload a scanned copy of a recent-clicked photograph in the size and format specified by authorities i.e., 200 pixel height and 150 pixel width having a file size of 30 KB.
Step 4: Pay the online application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or other other modes. This application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Step 5: After paying the fee, take a printout of the fully-filled and submitted application form future reference.
