HTET Result 2022

The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) has conducted the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test or HTET on December 18 and 19, 2021. Soon after the conclusion of the exam, the Board had uploaded the official answer keys on its website – bseh.org.in. However, the issue that has been baffling candidates is the availability of the results and what cut-off they can expect this time.

Result Date

As per predictions based on previous year trends, the results were supposed to be out by the first or second week of January 2022. Since this has not been the case, it is expected that the results will be out by this month or latest by the first week of February 2022.

In 2019, the HTET exam took place on November 16 and 17, 2019 while the results were announced on January 09, 2020. In other words, the results were released 52 days after the exam was held. Going by this trend, one can expect the results by February 09, 2022. However, some sources are of the opinion that the results are likely to be announced by January 21, 2022.

Biometric List

It must be noted that the HTET result 2022 will only be declared after due comparison of the IRIS database or biometric profile verification as decided by BSEH. The candidates will have to appear for verification and produce the required documents at the designated centre. In addition to that, these candidates will be given only three chances and subsequently, their results will be cancelled. The list of candidates can be checked from bseh.org.in.

Merit List

The lists of candidates will contain the roll numbers, name, home district, level, cadre and centre. Experts are of the opinion that candidates whose names will appear in the biometric list will be considered qualified for the examination. After successful verification, they will be issued certificates. However, separate certificates will also be issued to those candidates who have appeared and qualified for more than one level of HTET 2022.

Expected Cut-off

Although there are no specific cut-off marks in the HTET 2022 examination, category-wise qualifying marks have been laid down in the information bulletin. Candidates who will meet the criteria are going to be considered qualified for the exam. For SC and PH candidates of Haryana, the qualifying marks is 55%. Similarly, for all candidates except SC and PH of Haryana, the qualifying marks is 60%. On the other hand, candidates outside Haryana including SC and PH have to get 60% marks to stand qualified.
