Board of School Education, (BSEH) Haryana is expected to release the HTET Biometric List 2021 in the coming days. The HTET exam was held on December 22 and 23, 2021, and now the result is expected to be announced soon. Based on the trends from previous years, the HTET results were initially expected to be released anytime today. However, BSEH has said that before the results are declared, candidates will be asked to undergo the IRIS database and biometric profile verification.
HTET Biometric List 2021: What is IRIS Database?

The IRIS Biometric verification was introduced by the BSEH in 2020 to circumvent any potential fraudulent attempts to pass through. The IRIS database contains all the information about the candidates. Moreover, the biometric list will include all relevant details like the registration number of a candidate, name, personal info like DOB and residential address, HTET exam level and code, exam venue, and roll number.
The official notification of HTET has stated that the board will announce the IRIS Database list first and candidates who get selected in the same have to appear for this round. Names of the candidates who successfully clear this round will be put on the final HTET results. As per the dates from previous years, the HTET IRIS list is usually released at least 14 days after the exam is over.
Last year the exam was held on January 03, 2021, and the biometric list was released on January 17, 2021. Then the result was announced on January 22, 2021.
With this, it can be speculated that the HTET 2022 biometric list will be released by January 10 or 11, 2022. And then, the result might get announced 4 to 5 days after the biometric list. Hence, speculations are high that we might get to see the HTET 2021 result by January 15 or 16, 2022. Candidates are advised to stay connected to the official website for getting the latest updates related to its release.
Post announcement of this list, candidates are assigned slots, centers, and timings wherein they are asked to appear before the concerned authorities. During this round, the candidates will be tested for their IRIS data and biometric verification. Post this, those who complete this sound will be kept in the result list. While those who fail to do so will be given three more chances for verification. In case, candidates fail to succeed in this round, they shall be disqualified from the selection process.
Also, while going for the examination, candidates have to make sure that they carry all relevant documents including a government ID like the Adhaar card, the HTET 2021 admit card to the assigned center for due verifications.
