The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the revised schedule for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET 2021. These new dates have been announced for the examinations that were supposed to be held on December 16 and 17, 2021. On December 16, the second shift of CTET 2021 was canceled while on December 17, both shifts were canceled due to technical errors. As a result, the Board has now released the revised dates on which the exams will be held.
Examination for shift 2 of December 16 will now be held on January 17 while that for December 17 will take place on January 21. The time slots have been slightly altered and candidates can check them from the table below.

As per the notice, the students whose CTET 2021 examination was scheduled to be held on December 16 and 17, 2021 at Purnea (Purnia) have been allotted a revised examination date of January 12, 2022. Further, candidates will now be able to download the revised admit cards for the examination from the official website. Hence, candidates are advised to download the admit cards by following the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the official website of CTET 2021 – ctet.nic.in
Step 2- Scroll down the page and click on the ‘Download Admit Card CTET December 2021’
Step 3- Enter the application number, select the date of birth and insert the security PIN
Step 4- Click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 5- Follow the next few steps and download the admit cards.

CTET is a national-level eligibility test that is conducted at least twice a year. This examination is held in the computer-based test or CBT mode. Candidates qualifying for this examination will be issued a certificate that will hold a lifetime validity. The reporting time for shift 1 is 7:30 and that for shift 2 is 12:30 PM.
Result Date
The January session of CTET 2021 was held on January 31, 2021, while the results were released on February 26, 2021. Although the series of examinations was supposed to conclude on January 13, 2022, this time; the same will now end on January 21, 2022, due to the announcement of fresh and revised dates. Thus, it is likely that the candidates can expect their results after 26 days from the last exam date, i.e. by February 16, 2022.
