The Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology has released the exam dates for the phase 1 examinations of the Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (VTUEEE). As per the released schedule, the phase 1 examinations will be held over two slots. While slot 1 is going to be held from January 23 to 26, 2022; slot 2 will take place from February 11 to 14, 2022.
Candidates must note that the examination centers, as well as the time slot, will be mentioned in the hall tickets. The syllabus will cover three subjects namely Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. It is noteworthy that the VTUEEE exam will be held in both Paper and Pen Test (PPT) and Computer Based Test (CBT) modes. As per the information brochure, the question paper pattern will be similar to that of the JEE Mains examination.

Scheme of VTUEEE
The examination will be held for a duration of 03 hours (180 minutes). There will be 90 minutes on the question paper. The entire question paper will be divided into three sections, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with each section having 30 questions. For every question, 04 marks will be allotted for a correct answer while 01 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Hall Tickets
Candidates will be able to download the hall tickets from the official website – veltech.edu.in via the candidate’s dashboard. In case the candidate does not receive the hall tickets at least two weeks prior to the examination, then they must contact the required helpline number. The examination halls will be opened for the candidates 30 minutes prior to the examination.
Candidates will have to produce the hall tickets to get entry to the exam halls. The ones who will not be in possession of the hall tickets will not be allowed entry. No candidate will be allowed to leave the halls 30 minutes after the completion of the VTUEEE test.
Result
The results for the entrance test will be prepared in the form of the merit list based on the total marks secured. Candidates will be able to download the results from the official website – veltech.edu.in. The phase 1 results will be released separately for slot 1 and 2. For slot 1, the result date is February 06, 2022 while for slot 2, the date is February 25, 2022.
