The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has begun the registration process for West Bengal Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) courses today. Interested students can start applying on the official WBJEE website. The last date for application is on January 28, 2022, until 6:00 PM. The examination is scheduled for June 11 and 12, 2022, (Saturday and Sunday), and all registered students will be issued their admit cards 15-20 days before the examination date.
How to Apply
WB ANM GNM 2022 registration form is a fairly easy form to fill and requires candidates to have a working email address and mobile number. To register for this, students can follow the systematic steps mentioned below.
Step 1. Visit the authority website of WBJEE by clicking on, wbjeeb.nic.in
Step 2. This will direct candidates to the WBJEE homepage. Under the “Examinations / e-Counsellings of 2021” section, students can find the link for “ANM and GNM”. Click on it.
Step 3. Students will be directed to the ANM and GNM where they have to click on “Register”. The online application will appear on the screen.
Step 4. Students will be asked to fill in their personal information including email address, mobile number, residential address, educational qualifications, and so on.
Step 5. After filling in all the details, students must review it once to avoid any mistakes and then click on “Submit”.
Step 6. In this step, students will have to upload scanned copies of their photographs and signature. Both these must be in JPG format. The size of the photograph should be less than 200 KB and the size of the signature should be less than 30 KB. This ends the application filling process.
Step 7. Lastly, to confirm the registration, all students are requested to pay the application fee. This can be paid via various online means available on the website. For General candidates, the fee is Rs. 300 and for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the fee is Rs. 200.
Step 8. On successful completion, candidates will be issued an Application Number and a password. This must be kept safe for future use.
WBJEE also ensures that students who have made some errors while filling the application form get a second chance. This will be given through an “Application Correction Window”. In this, candidates can make corrections on a few selected data including the candidate’s personal information and domicile details. The application correction window is opened only after all applications have been received. For the academic year 2021-22, the window will be opened in the 1st week of February 2022, tentatively.
