The Union Public Service Commission is conducting the NDA 1 2021 exam on April 18, 2021. The conducting body has already released NDA admit card online at upsc.gov.in. However, the question is whether the NDA exam will get postponed or not. Due to a sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, students demand the postponement of the examination.
India is facing the second wave of Coronavirus due to which several important exams are getting postponed. However, UPSC has not yet announced/ released any notification regarding the postponement or cancellation of the NDA exam. Candidates are worried about the examination as only 02 days are left for the exam. Aspirants are advised to keep visiting the official website of UPSC to get the latest news on NDA exam 2021.
Recently, the National Boards of Examination (NBE) postponed the NEET PG 2021 exam owing to the increase in the number of cases reported each day. After this, there was a rise in the number of students requesting to postpone the NDA 2021 exam as well. With the imposition of limited travelling, weekend curfew in few states, students are worried about how they will reach the exam centre. Their major concern is that, who will be held responsible if they get infected.
On Twitter, NDA candidates are trending hashtags to bring the Government’s attention to their concern. Several students are sharing their opinion with hashtag #postponendaexam2021 and #postponenda to raise their demand for the postponement of the exam. A candidate on Twitter has shared that his exam centre is allocated 300 KMs away from his city. Another aspirant is concerned about the rising number of cases each day.
On the other hand, India is now among one of the worst-hit countries by COVID-19. Over 2 lakh cases of COVID-19 were reported yesterday across the nation. In order to curb the spreading virus and to get hold of a situation, the government has introduced new COVID-19 guidelines in different states. Mass gathering, night curfews, weekend lockdowns, are being highlights of the guidelines that are imposed to control the situation.
Owing to the current scenario, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the 12th Boards exam and cancelled the 10th Boards exam. Various state boards including Maharashtra state, Madhya Pradesh Tamil Nadu Board, UP board has also postponed their examinations. Also, the Indian Air Force has postponed the CASB exam that was scheduled to take place on April 18, 2021.
