Considering the worsening situation of the pandemic in the state, a lot of teachers have sought to cancel the examination in the state. They put forth the example of the KVPY exam scheduled for January 09, 2022, which was cancelled for the safety of the test takers. However, the commission is keen to conduct the examination on the mentioned date and for that, it has introduced a lot of measures earlier.
One of such measures taken up by the commission is allowing students to appear for the examination at their sub-division. It has also increased the number of centres up by 2.5 times to avoid unnecessary crowing at the exam centre. Another thing considered by the commission is that only one student will be eligible to write the exam on the bench citing social distancing.
