The revised and final answer key of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) will be released today February 23, 2022, by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board on its official website updeled.gov.in. The answer key is final and binding and is released after making the necessary corrections. The provisional answer key was released by the board on January 27, 2022, and the candidates had the option to raise objections till February 01. The result of the examination is likely to be announced on February 25, 2022.
How to Download Answer Key/ Sansodhit 2022?
The answer key of the UPET examination 2022 is available to download on the official website. To download it, follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPTET updeled.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link that reads Download answer key PDF.
Step 3: In the space provided, enter the registration number, OTP, and captcha and submit.
Step 4: The answer key will be displayed on the screen. Download it for further references.
Candidates can use the final answer key to calculate their scores before the official result of the examination is announced.
UPTET Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The UPTET examination consisted of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 consisted of 150 Multiple Choice Questions which accounts for a total of 150 marks. Paper 2 also accounts for a total of 150 marks with a weightage of 60 marks for the optional subject section. There is no negative marking for both papers. Hence, candidates can easily calculate their scores by adding 1 mark for the right answers they have attempted.
UPTET Result and Cut-off
The UPTET result will be published on the official website two days after the final answer key has been published i.e. February 25, 2022. The candidates belonging to the General category have to score a qualifying mark of 60% which means 90 out of 150 marks and the SC, ST, and OBC candidates have to score a qualifying mark of 55% which accounts to 82 marks out of 150. Candidates who qualify the examination will be provided with an eligibility certificate with which they can apply for various teaching job openings in the state.
