The enigma surrounding the declaration of UPTET result 2022 seems to be fading now as the release of the final answer key has been delayed. Earlier, reports and speculations from leading media houses suggested that the final answer key and result of UPTET 2022 will be released simultaneously on February 25, 2022. However, this couldn’t happen as the government reportedly didn’t permit the board to announce the result or release the revised answer key.
UPTET Result 2022 Release Delayed
Amid the ongoing assembly elections in the state, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has sought permission from the state government regarding the release of the result as reported in Live Hindustan. However, citing an undisclosed reason, the government didn’t permit the board to do so. The deadline for obtaining this permission was yesterday, February 23, 2022, but now with this decision, it is clear that the result along with the UPTET revised answer key shall be released after the elections are over.
UPTET Result 2022 Expected Date
The board has not put forth any tentative date for the release of the UPTET result or answer key. However, the same report from Live Hindustan, suggests that it will be released anytime after March 10, 2022, once the assembly elections conclude. Candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official website of UPTET, updeled.gov.in for any update regarding the release of the result or revised answer key.
UPTET 2022 exam was conducted on January 23, 2022, in two shifts for level 1 and level 2 teachers. The provisional answer key for the examination was released on January 28, 2022, and the objections against the same were accepted up to February 01, 2022. As per reports, the candidates have reported 98 objections out of which 54 were against the primary level exam and the remaining for the upper primary level paper.

This year around 21,65,179 candidates registered for the examination out of which merely 18,22,112 took up the test. 83.09% of the total candidates i.e. 10,73,302 candidates took up the test for the primary level whereas 7,48,810 candidates took up the test for the level 2 exam, as compiled from the report by Live Hindustan.
