Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards of Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination 2021. The commission will be conducting the IES/ISS exam 2021 from July 16 to 17, 2021, in two shifts. The applicants who have applied for the UPSC IES/ISS Examination 2021 are now eligible to download their e-Call letter from the official website of the commission.
To download the admit cards, candidates need to visit the website upsc.gov.in and keep their login credentials with them. The E-admit cards of Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) will remain available on the site till 18 July 2021, the day of examination. The admit cards can be downloading by using Registration Id or by Roll number.
It is mandatory for all the students to take print of the admit card along with important instructions given on the admit card page. The candidates will have to bring the e-Admit Card (print out) along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each session to secure admission to exam hall.

Here below are the steps to be followed by the candidates in downloading their E-Admit card –
Step 1: Go to the website of the Union Public Service Commission
Step 2: In the News/Announcement section click on the link that reads, “E-Admit Card: Indian Economic Service Examination, 2021”
Step 3: In a new window click on “Click Here” in front of e-Admit Card
Step 4: Read the Important Instructions in a new window and select ‘Yes’
Step 5: Enter your UPSC IES/ISS 2021 registration id or roll number and click on “Submit”
Step 6: Download and take a print copy of the same admit card for future use.
According to the UPSC, IES/ISS exam 2021 will be held on July 16, 17, and 18. The exam will be held in two sessions: 9.00 AM to 12 noon and 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. The examination will be conducted following the COVID-19 protocols and safety guidelines released by the Government of India. “Wearing of mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the Venue. The candidates may carry their own hand sanitizer (small size) in a transparent bottle. Candidates to follow COVID 19 norms of ‘social distancing’ as well as ‘personal hygiene’ inside the Examination Halls/Rooms as well as in the premises of the Venue,” reads COVID-19 instructions released by the commission.

According to the proposed examination scheme, the competitive written examination would consist of papers on – General English, General Studies, and Subject-specific papers. The papers on General English and General Studies, common to both IES and ISS will be of subjective type. All other papers of IES will also be of subjective type. Two papers of ISS will be of objective type.
