Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan shall soon release the KVS Admission 2021 Class 1 second selection list. Parents and guardians whose child has not been selected in the first selection list can check the second selection list via kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. It is expected that the KVS class 1 second selection list and a waitlist will be released tomorrow on June 30, 2021.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the first selection list for KVS Class 1 admission. It was published recently on June 24, 2021, on the official website, kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. The second selection list will be released only if there are vacant seats available after the first allotment list. As per the reports, the second selection list will be uploaded on the website on June 30, 2021. If the seats remain vacant after the second allotment list, there will also be a third selection list. It is expected that the KVS class 1 admission third selection list will be released on July 05, 2021.
To check the selection list, first visit the official website for KVS, kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Thereafter, on the homepage, they will get the direct link to log in and check the second selection list. Enter the login code, date of birth of a child, mobile number and the captcha code and click on the ‘login’ button. Lastly, the second selection list for the KVS Class 1 admission shall display on the screen. Parents and check the name of the child in the second list.
KVS will also publish a waitlist for the admissions tomorrow. Also, the declaration of a provisional select list of candidates based on the priority service category for unreserved seats will be published from July 02, 2021, to July 06, 2021.
The selection list is prepared based on the reservation criteria defined by the government. KVS gives priority to the children and grandchildren of the working and retired government employees, defence personnel. As per the reservation criteria, 15% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% of seats are for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 27% seats for reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) in all fresh admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas. Currently, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is running 1248 Kendriya Vidyalayas in 25 different zones. Moreover, 3% seats of the total seats for fresh admission is horizontally reserved for differently-abled children.
Children who are shortlisted as per the selection list have to report to school for final admission. Parents have to make sure that they produce date of birth proof, domicile certificates, caste certificate and proof of service of parents at the time of verification.
