UPSC IES ISS 2018 notification was released today, on March 21, 2018. Candidates can now apply online for Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service (IES/ISS) until April 16, 2018. Notification for exam has been published at upsc.gov.in, whereas registration is open at upsconline.nic.in. Application fee is Rs 200. Female candidates, SC, ST, PwBD are exempt from fee payment. There will be a combined competitive examination for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of Services from June 29, 2018. On basis of performance in UPSC IES/ISS 2018, candidates will get offer in Indian Economic Service with 14 vacancies, and Indian Statistical Service with 32 vacancies.
For UPSC IES ISS 2018 apply online, candidate has to fill two parts of form namely part I and part II. Enter correct details in form. One also has to upload photograph and signature duly scanned in the .jpg format in such a manner that each file should not exceed 40 KB and must not less that 3 KB in size for the photograph and 1 KB for the signature.

During form filling, centres are allotted on first-apply-first allot basis. A centre gets frozen as soon as all seats in it are filled. Final allotment of centre shall be shown in UPSC IES ISS 2018 admit card which will be available at upsc.gov.in. Apply online now.
In examination for Indian Economic Service, there will be questions on general english of 100 marks, general studies of 100 marks, general economics I of 200 marks, general economics II of 200 marks, general economics III of 200 marks, indian economics of 200 marks. Each is of three hours duration.
Indian Statistical Service (ISS) paper contains general english of 100 marks, general studies of 100 marks, statistics I of 200 marks, statistics II of 200 marks, statistics III of 200 marks, statistics IV of 200 marks. Statistics III and statistics IV are descriptive papers. general English, general studies, statistics III, statistics IV are of three hours duration, whereas statistics I and statistics II are of two hours duration.
