Union Public Service Commission (UPS) has released the official notification for the CAPF 2022 recruitment examination. Notification has been released in the PDF format, on the official website upsc.gov.in. Accordingly, the last date to apply for the recruitment exam is May 10, 2022. The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) 2022 written exam is all set to be conducted on August 07, 2022. Being a national-level recruitment exam, the stakes are high and the competition is tough.

What does the UPSC CAPF 2022 notification state?
As per the UPSC CAPF 2022 official notification, the written exam will be held on August 07, 2022, in the form of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be held in the morning, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Paper II shall be conducted in the afternoon, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Structure & Syllabus of Paper I
This paper comprises of two sections – 1. General Ability and 2. Intelligence. It will cover objective-based questions worth a total of 250 marks. Questions will be displayed in both English and Hindi languages. Although the topics under each section have not been specified, here’s a general idea of what to expect –
General Ability: Analogies, Arrangements, Syllogisms, Spatial Orientation, Problem Solving, Analysis, Ranking, Arithmetical Reasoning, Decision Making, Space Visualization, Visual Memory, etc
Intelligence: Current Events of National and International Importance, General Mental Ability, General Science, Indian Polity and Economy, etc
Structure & Syllabus of Paper II
This paper comprises of three language-based components – 1. General Studies, 2. Essay and 3. Comprehension. Conducted for a total of 200 marks, this paper will provide candidates the options to write an essay in Hindi or English language. However, other elements of the paper such as precis writing, components of comprehension and other skills will be strictly asked in the English language.
