West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is all set to conduct the WBJEE 2022 exam on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Just days ahead of the entrance exam, students have demanded the postponement of the entrance exam. The reason behind the postponement is the obvious clash of exams. the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 is clashing with the upcoming Class 12 board exams organized by CBSE and ISC.
The common consensus is that the WBJEE 2022 exam must be postponed to the end of May 2022, after the successful conduction of board exams. So that there is no clash of exams and students can dedicate adequate time to both aspects. The state examination board is yet to respond to these demands. However, if these demands persist for long, the entrance exam is likely to get postponed.
WBJEE 2022 Exam Schedule
As per official information, the WBJEE 2022 examination is all set to be conducted on April 30, 2022. Successfully registered candidates can download their admit cards, starting April 25, 2022, on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in.
The WBJEE 2022 exam is going to be conducted through the OMR-based pen-and-paper mode, at selected centres across the state. The test will be held in two shifts – morning shift from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Mathematics paper will be held in the first shift while Chemistry and Physics subject papers shall be organized in the second shift.
WBJEE 2022 Clash of Dates with CBSE, ISC
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct its Class 12 board exams 2022, starting April 26. Although no paper is scheduled for April 30, several papers will be held on April 28 and May 02. So, students are likely to face issues while preparing for WBJEE 2022 and appearing for their board exams.
Similarly, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 board exams 2022 are all set to begin on April 26, 2022. As per the date sheet, several subject papers are scheduled on April 30, 2022, obviously clashing with WBJEE 2022. Immediately thereafter, English – Paper 2 (Literature in English) is scheduled for May 02, 2022. Here again, students have noticed a clear clash of exams, compelling them to demand a postponement.
