The UGC-NET is conducted twice every year. However, owing to the postponement of UGC-NET December 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the schedule of UGC-NET June 2021 has been delayed. Thus, just to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the NTA, along with UGC, has decided to merge both the UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. Now, both these examinations will together be conducted in the computer-based test (CBT) mode.
