The Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission has already released the official date for conducting the Teacher Eligibility Test or Assam TET 2021. As per the official advertisement available on ssa.assam.gov.in, the date of examination for Assam TET 2021 is October 24, 2021 while the e-admit cards for the same will be available today, on October 10, 2021. But now, a notice has been making rounds on social media stating that the Assam TET examination will not be held on the mentioned date.

The notice that has been circulating on social media is more of a formal letter sent to the head of a particular institute. According to the letter, the Assam TET 2021 for lower and upper primary will be held on October 31, 2021. Moreover, the Paper-I of lower primary TET will take place in the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. On the other hand, the Paper-II of upper primary TET will be held in the afternoon shift from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The letter is also undersigned by the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.

Now, this notice has created great confusion among the candidates. The major question that now arises is whether this notice is real or fake. The advertisement on the official website further states that the date of examination may be rescheduled in case of any unavoidable circumstance. However, today, i.e. October 10, 2021 is the date for releasing the Assam TET 2021 admit cards. But, so far, no official announcement regarding the postponement of the exam is out. So, whether the admit cards will be released today or not is yet to be seen.

As per the official announcement, it is clear that in case the Assam TET 2021 is held on October 24, 2021; then the admit cards will be released 14 days prior to that. So, if we assume that the examination gets postponed to October 31, 2021 (which is yet to be officialized), then the admit cards for Assam TET 2021 is likely to be released 14 days prior to the date, i.e. on October 17, 2021 (Sunday).

Please note that these assumptions are merely based on calculations. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website – ssa.assa.gov.in to stay up-to-date with the official notifications. Both papers I and II of Assam TET 2021 will be of 150 marks. A total of 150 questions will be asked each carrying 01 mark. There will be no negative marking for Assam TET 2021.
