UGC NET 2018 December Exam Registrations Started on nta.ac.in

The Application form for  UGC NET 2018 has been released on the official website. Students can register themselves online from September 01, 2018 to September 30, 2018, and pay the application fee till October 01, 2018. The exam is going to be conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship program and the Assistant professor program. Through an official notification, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has also released the exam Timings for Paper 1 and 2. UGC NET 2018 exam which is scheduled to be conducted in the month of December will be conducted by the National Testing Agency. From December onwards, the exam is going to conducted twice a year; once in July and for the second time in December.

Along with the Registrations for the UGC NET 2018 December exam, candidates can now register with the testing agency and appear for the mock test at the Test Practice Centers. Candidates can do the registration to appear for the mock tests through the mobile app and website.

Earlier, it was informed to the candidates that the application form will be available from December 02, 2018 to December 16. 2018 but the dates have been changed and the students will get to begin the registration procedure on September 01, 2018.

Candidates with a percentage of 55% (General), 50% (OBC belonging to the non-creamy layer or SC/ST/Person with Disabilities/Transgender) can apply. Also, the students in a Masters or Equivalent degree from any university or institute recognized by the UGC can apply.

Since the conducting body has changed so the registrations will be done on the website of NTA and not CBSE. Students will have to visit the official website of NTA i.e nta.ac.in to do the registrations. Upon landing on the official website click on the “Apply Now” button and begin filling the respective fields. A scanned copy of photograph (4 to 40 KB ) and signatures (4 to 40 KB ) will be required to be uploaded by the candidates. After uploading the documents students will have to pay the UGC NET 2018 Application fee. The fee has remained the same i.e Rs 1000/- for General Category, Rs 500/- for OBC and Rs 250/- for the SC/ST/PWD/Transgender category. A printout of the confirmation page has to be kept by the students for future references

No Change in Fee, Syllabus or Exam Pattern For

UGC -NET 2018

This time the responsibility for conducting the UGC NET 2018 has been given to the National Testing Agency which is going to conduct the exam on the behalf of the Universities Grant Commission. Although the UGC NET 2018 December exam has brought along this massive change, yet the UGC NET 2018 Syllabus, Exam Pattern, and fees are subject to remain the same. Continuous discussions were going on the subject of change in the conduct of the exam. A lot of questions had been raised with regard to the changes that NTA will bring along in the overall event. However, as a little time passed by, students were informed that there are no big changes except for the change in the conducting body and the mode of examination. Also, the exam will be conducted twice in a year i.e in July and December.
