National Testing Agency (NTA) has released JEE Main 2019 Application Form. To the surprise, the application form has been released at jeemain.nic.in and not nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for JEE Main 2019 is September 30, 2018. The only mode available to apply for JEE Main 2019 is online and candidates cannot access offline applications.

To register, the candidates just need to visit the official website and then register by entering the state of eligibility, selected id type, name, date of birth, gender, etc. Once registered, the candidates will be able to access the application form and fill the details in it.

The JEE Main 2019 Application Form Fee Decreased; if Applying for Both the Papers

All the candidates need to start the online application procedure by registering whereas end the process by paying the application fee. The amount of application fee of JEE Main Jan 2019 is Rs. 500 for UR & OBC male candidates, whereas, UR & OBC Girl, SC, ST, and PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 250.

However, if the candidates want to apply for JEE Main 2019 Paper I and II then they need to submit Rs. 900 (for UR & OBC male candidates) and Rs. 450 (if belonging to female, ST, SC, PwD category). Last year, if candidates applied for both the papers then the amount of fee was Rs. 1300. NTA has decreased the amount of fee. The payment of application form fee needs to be submitted via using online payment gateways – Credit card, Debit Card or Net Banking or E-Challan.

NTA will not give the oppurtunity to choose date and slot. Instead, it will be assigned to the students.

The last date for submitting the JEE Main 2019 applications for the January session will be September 30, 2018, giving students ample time to apply for this national level engineering entrance providing admissions to various NITs, IIITs and CFTIs based on the All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main. JEE Main 2019 Application Form needs to be filled with extreme care. So, it is suggested to cross check all the details filled in the form, prior to its submission.

In addition to applying for the exam, candidates can now also start registering for NTA JEE Main 2019 Test Practice Centres (TPCs), where they can practice the online tests which will be identical to that of the online tests on the exam day.

All JEE Main 2019 aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria, prior to application form filling. There is no age limit in JEE this year. Candidates who passed class 12th in 2017, 2018, or are appearing for it in 2019 are eligible to apply. The only criterion of eligibility for JEE Main 2019 is that the candidates should have had taken 5 subjects in class 12th. However, to get admission candidates should have studied maths, physics, chemistry/biology. Hence, only the science side candidates should apply.

The list of documents that need to be uploaded or referred is the Aadhaar Card / Valid ID Proof, Marksheet of class 10th and 12th, recent passport size photograph and signature of specified size and measurements.

To avoid last minute rush, candidates can start applying now. If you have any queries, let us know. Comment below.
