Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, is all set to conduct the UCEED 2022 examination tomorrow, January 23, 2022. The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2022 will be held through both the online and offline modes. While Part A will be held in the computer-based format, Part B shall be conducted through the offline mode. To appear for tomorrow’s exam, all candidates must download their admit cards from the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in. It is also important to take 1-2 printouts of the document before tomorrow’s exam.
UCEED 2022 Exam Timings
IIT Bombay has uploaded the official schedule for UCEED 2022 examination on its dedicated website. As per the schedule, the entrance exam is going to be conducted for a duration of 3 hours, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. So, to be on the safer side, candidates must reach their allotted exam centre for at least 60 minutes. So that the document verification and frisking processes get completed on time.
UCEED 2022 COVID-19 Guidelines to Follow
As per the UCEED 2022 information brochure, special instructions pertaining to COVID-19 will be uploaded on the official website, before the exam. So, it is important for each candidate to visit the website for these instructions before reaching the exam centre tomorrow. While waiting for the guidelines to come out, candidates can take a look at certain obvious instructions given below to ensure the health and safety of all –
# It is important to wear a mask at all times outside and inside the exam centre. In case the COVID-19 infection caseload is important in an area, candidates living in such areas must wear two masks for double protection.
# All candidates are advised to carry a 50 ml hand sanitiser with them and keep sanitising the hands after frequent intervals, throughout the exam.
# As much as possible, candidates must maintain a safe distance from each other. Moreover, to avoid overcrowding outside the centre, it is recommended to reach the centre 1-2 hours prior.
UCEED 2022 Things to Carry to Exam Centre
While reporting for the UCEED 2022 examination, candidates need to carry the following items to the exam centre –
- UCEED 2022 Admit Card printout
- Valid photo ID (preferably a recently-created ID for easier verification)
- 2-3 passport-size, recently-clicked pictures
- Face mask
- Hand gloves
- Hand sanitiser (50 ml)
Other than the things mentioned above, candidates are not permitted to carry any items to the UCEED 2022 exam centre including study material, notes, digital watches, smartphones, electronic devices, stationery, etc.
