CEED 2022 examination is scheduled for today i.e. January 23, 2022, in a single shift from 9 am to 12 pm. The candidates going to appear in the exam today will be asked to appear in the exam from the designated exam center. CEED or Common Entrance Exam for Design is held annually to provide admission to candidates in the M.Des programmes offered by the different colleges.
Exam Day Guidelines & COVID SOPs
The authorities have already released the CEED 2022 admit card for the examination earlier. Along with that, they have also released a set of exam guidelines and SOPs that has to be followed by the candidates attending the exam today. Check out the CEED exam guidelines in the space below:
- Candidates must report their designated exam center at 7 am such that there is no issue in the biometric verification i.e. thumb impression and photograph.
- It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of CEED 2022 along with a government issued id proof i.e. Adhaar card, Pan card, or Driving licence to the exam center.
- Candidates must refrain from carrying any electronic gadget for example, calculator, smart watch, or mobile phone, etc.
- Dawing sheets will be provided inside the examination hall while they have to carry pencils, pens and colors with themselves.
- The candidates are asked to abide by all the basic Covid SOPs and guidelines such as social distancing and hand sanitising.
- The authorities have stated that candidates have to wear face mask along with a face shield in the exam hall. They are also required to carry a 50 ml hand sanitiser bottle that should be completely transparent.
CEED 2022 – Exam Pattern
CEED 2022 examination is going to have two sections, i.e. A and B, the first section will be conducted in the online mode and the second section shall be held in the pen and paper-based mode. Part A will have 41 questions out of which 23 questions will be MCQ based, 8 shall be numerical based and the rest 10 shall be multiple select questions. Part B is going to have 1 question that shall be based on sketching and drawing and the maximum marks for this section is 20 marks. The examination is going to be held for a duration of 3 hours.
