Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay successfully conducted the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) today, January 23, 2022. The exam was conducted from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm at various affiliated centers of UCEED across the country. The objective part of the exam was conducted in online (computer based CBT) mode, and the drawing section was offline (pen-paper based) mode. IIT Bombay conducts this entrance exam to offer various undergraduate courses in design at one of the best design colleges across India.

UCEED 2022 Answer Key by IIT Bombay
Now that the examination was over, IIT Bombay has started preparing to release the provisional answer key for the UCEED 2022 exam. As per the official date sheet the provisional answer key is scheduled to release on January 25, 2022. Candidates wishing to raise objections against this answer key can do so latest by 5.00 pm, January 27, 2022. After clearing all the objections and queries raised against the questions in the provisional answer key, the final answer key will be released on Jan 31, 2022.
Furthermore, cut-off marks for the Part – A of the exam is scheduled to be announced on February 10, 2022 followed by the declaration of results on March 10, 2022 respectively. Score cards will be made available on the official website of UCEED at uceed.iitb.ac.in from March 14, 2022 to June 14, 2022 respectively. Admission in colleges is yet to be scheduled and is expected to take place in the month of April and May 2022.
Applicants wishing to raise objections or comments against the UCEED 2022 provisional answer key must do so by logging in on the official website of UCEED only. This should be done in a period of 2 days till January 27, 2022. Candidates must note that the order in which the questions appear varies from set to set. Hence, officials advise candidates to refer to the Mater Question Paper uploaded on the official website of UCEED. This is to ensure that candidates and committee members map to the correct question and draw out the confusion that can be created due to different sets.
UCEED 2022 Result
According to the schedule the UCEED 2022 results will be declared on March 10, 2022 followed by the release of score cards on March 14, 2022 respectively. UCEED results will be uploaded on the official website of UCEED. Candidates can easily access their UCCED 2022 results through a simple login process. UCEED 2022 score cards will be made available on the official website till June 14, 2022 respectively.
All shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank (All India Rank) and will be considered as qualified candidates in UCEED 2022. Candidates must bring into their notice that obtaining a rank in UCEED 2022 does not ensure admission to the BDes programme. Applicants must not expect any hard copy of the UCEED 2022 score cards. Further as stated above, the responses of the candidates for Part-A of UCEED 2022 examination will be made available for download until the declaration of the UCEED result. Downloading of Part-A responses will be disabled once the UCEED results are declared. No further requests will be entertained in this regard.
Admission schedule for undergraduate courses in Design has not yet been released by the IIT Bombay. However, it is expected to be helped in April and May, 2022. List of participating institutes in the UCEED 2022 exam is as follow: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IITDM Jabalpur, World University of Design – Sonepat, UPES School of Design, Lovely Professional University, RK University, Srishti Manipal University, MIT Institute of Design – Ujjain, JK Lakshmipat University.
