Tanuja Kapri Gets Third Rank in CBSE 12th Result 2018

CBSE Result 2018 has been declared and we have got our toppers. This year, the girls have won the race by securing the top positions. In the list of the toppers, Tanuja Kapri has got the third positions in 12th class in the country. She has obtained 497 marks out of 50. The girl is from Gayatri Vidyapeeth and belongs to Haridwar.

Tanuja Kapri got the third rank and just from 2 marks she remained to be the 1st rank scorer in the country. But the girl is happy with what she has got.

Tanuja has shared the third position with six other students. Their names are Chahat Bodhraj (from Neerja Modi School, Jaipur), Astha Bamba (from BCM Arya Model School, Ludhiana), Supriya Kaushik (from Cambridge School, Noida), Nakul Gupta (from DPS Ghaziabad), Kshitij Anand (from SAJ School, Vasundhara), Ananya Singh (from Meerut Public School, Meerut). All these students have scored the total 497 marks.

Toppers list cannot end without the all India topper’s name and i.e. Meghana Srivastava. She earned 499 marks and with a margin of only 1 mark, she got remained from the perfect scorer. Meghana obtained 100 in Geography, 100 in Psychology, and 100 in Economics, 99 in English, 100 in History.

This year, around  11,84,386 students registered for CBSE 12th exams and 11,06,772 candidates appeared in the exams. The board conducted the exams from March 05 to April 27, 2018. The overall pass percentage of the current year is 83.01% which is 1% increased by the last year.

There were many controversies related to CBSE exams and it was said that the result might get late declared but the board tried to maintain the trend and announced the result on the specified date.

Top three Regions

The top three regions with the highest pass percentage are Trivandrum, Chennai, and Delhi, The pass percentage of these regions is 97.32%, 93.87%, and 89.00% respectively.

The girls outshined the boys by scoring the pass percentage as 88.31% while the pass percentage of the boys is 78.99%. There is a huge gap of 9.31% between the percentage of both.

CBSE 12th Result 2018 has been declared today i.e. on May 26, 2018, at 12:21 PM. The result is available online on the official website cbseresults.nic.in. If you have checked your result then check it now. To access the result, you just need to submit your roll number. Then the result will appear to you. After the above steps, you will be able to see your result.
