She said her initial reaction was of shock, she couldn’t look at the screen while checking the result. It was her Father who recited the result to her. She was then overwhelmed. She says it is the year-long hard work that has finally paid off.
100 in History! How?
When asked about her preparation techniques she repeatedly said that consistent hard work is all that is important. Hard work throughout the year and making notes has helped her a lot. History is known as a very difficult subject to score, but Meghna has achieved a total 100 in the subject. The mystery that she revealed behind this was the notes at the end of the year that she had accumulated over the period of time.
“I never counted the hours of preparation. I always studied according to the chapters left and made a schedule accordingly daily.”

Also, history is one of her favorite subjects. She credited her love for the subject to here teacher Anita Ma’am. She said that her teacher made the subject interesting and helped with notes, model answers, and question banks. At the end of the year, she had a bundle of notes that she revised on a daily basis. Thus, Meghna believes in making notes. Throughout the year she has studied and noted down the important notes for everything. In the end, these notes helped her big time.
Meghna also enjoys Psychology. She wants to do Major in Psychology but she is not thinking about the far off future right now. She says it will depend on how the college goes.
Her parents give her enough liberty to decide about her own future. Thus, she says “I feel lucky to have no pressure about my future choices.”
This year there is an increase in the overall pass percentage by 1% as compared to last year. Last year the pass percentage was 82.02%. Despite the removal of marks moderation policy, the overall pass percentage has increased marginally. The top 3 performers are Girls and this year too, Girls have outshined boys.
