SSC Selection Post 8 2020 Starts Tomorrow, Check SOPs and Exam Day Guidelines

Staff Selection Commission has issued some exam day guidelines and instructions for SSC Selection Post Phase 8 that starts tomorrow onwards.

Only one day is left for the commencement of SSC Selection Post Phase 8 exam. Staff Selection Commission has already published the admit card for the CBT exam. Aspirants who have successfully downloaded the call letters can appear for exam that is scheduled from November 06, 2020 to November 10, 2020. As the exam is taking place amidst COVID-19, SSC has issued certain guidelines considering the safety measures. Aspirants can check the exam guidelines by browsing ssc.nic.in.

It is necessary for aspirants to abide by these instructions for the seamless commencement of exam. They have to reach the exam centre at least 10-15 minutes before the reporting time of the exam. The conducting body has already mentioned the reporting for SSC Selection Post Phase 8 on the hall ticket. The gates will be closed after the specified time and under no circumstances a candidate is allowed to enter the centre. Also, no candidates are allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam gets over.

There are a few documents that aspirants have to carry to the exam centre. These are required for the verification of candidates and their authentic identity. To start with, candidates have to mandatorily carry their SSC Selection Post Phase 8 admit card. Along with this, two copies of recent coloured passport size photograph should also be carried. An identity proof bearing a photograph of candidates should also be presented. It can be any one of the following – Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar, Voter’s ID Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, ID Card issued by School/ College, Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU/ Private), etc, Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by the Ministry of Defence, Any other photo identity proof issued by the Central/State government.

SSC has also published some social distancing guidelines lately on the official website. These are applicable for all the SSC exam that is scheduled for November. As per the notice, candidates have to wear a mask all the time. Also, they have to carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Maintaining social distancing is also compulsory inside and outside the exam centre. Candidates are allowed to carry a transparent water bottle inside the exam hall as well. Moreover, applicants are also required to bear COVID-10 self-declaration form. This is available along with the admit card of SSC Selection Post Phase 8.

Assess the regional website link directly from SSC official website, ssc.nic.in. Before downloading, keep the user id and password ready.
