In an unprecedented scene of events, coaching centres will not be releasing any answer key or analysis for the Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff (SSC MTS) 2021 recruitment examination. This decision came after the commission issued a notice in August 2021, announcing the disqualification of any candidate who passes any information about the question paper contents to a third-party organisation. This was to safeguard the sanctity of the exam while ensuring that it is being conducted without any disruptions. This announcement took students by surprise resulting in a mixture of opinions – while some were against it, others were in favour or neutral towards the stance.
SSC authorities are currently in the process of conducting the SSC MTS 2021 recruitment exam. As per official information, this exam began on October 05, 2021, and will continue up to November 02, 2021. Clearly, the recruitment exam was being conducted in multiple sessions. Candidates appearing for the exam at a later stage found themselves at an advantage. Apparently, they would get a clear idea of the type of questions being asked, level of difficulty and key points of syllabus to focus on. There is also a possibility of some questions getting repeated in the later sessions.
Due to the above-listed advantages, candidates of late sessions would score better than those of earlier sessions. Invariably, this would give provide them a higher rank in the merit list and increased chances of getting recruited for the desired post. Reportedly, authorities recognised these possibilities and thus, took the decision of barring any student from disclosing crucial information.
The notice clearly states that if any candidate is found to disclose the contents of the SSC MTS 2021 paper, his/her candidature will be cancelled. The candidate may also be disbarred from appearing for the same exam in the future. With these consequences to face, students would be more than willing to comply with the SSC authorities. In fact, some stated that to prepare for the exam, previous-year question papers and reference books are enough. Exam analysis and memory-based learning have no place in such exams.
With the question paper details unknown, coaching institutions would not be able to upload detailed analysis of the SSC MTS 2021 sessions. Even releasing unofficial answer keys seems like a distant dream. Candidates will directly get to calculate their scores when SSC releases the official answer key. Till this happens, candidates who have already given the exam can only hope for the best results. And those who are yet to give the exam have a few hours/days to work hard for the exam. All the best!
