After much apprehension regarding the release of the SSC CGL 2019 result, it is now clear that the result has been delayed again. Earlier, the commission has announced that the result shall be announced on February 15, 2022. However, much to the candidates’ disappointment, it didn’t happen. Earlier, the result for the SSC CGL 2019 has been delayed a lot of times citing the petition pending with the Supreme Court of India.
Why is SSC CGL 2019 Final result delayed?
Back in 2020, when the commission conducted the SSC CGL 2019 Tier 1 examination, a new normalization formula was adopted to normalize the scores of candidates. However, after its implementation, a lot of candidates alleged that there has been a great reduction in their marks as compared to those candidates who have attempted fewer questions but have obtained high marks. Post this, a group of students took to the High Court of Delhi and filed a petition regarding this discrepancy. Therefore, the HC put a stay on the result even though the commission was ready with it and they have even announced the post-wise vacancies.

Now, on February 08, 2022, the commission appealed to the court to prepone its hearing, so that the result of SSC CGL 2019 can be announced. However, to the commission’s dismay the bench did not take up the case on February 15, 2022, and thus, the stay on the release of the result remains intact.
What’s Next?
The honorable court has provided an alternate date and now the next hearing for the court case is on February 21, 2022. The candidates can expect that the court gives a proper judgment and the result are announced for those who are awaiting its release for the last 3 years.
The delay in the result of SSC CGL 2019 is caused due to the pending court case, however, no such thing has been filed for the other exams i.e. SSC GD Constable, CHSL, MTS, Stenographer, etc. The commission through a result status report has notified that the result of SSC GD Constable 2021 shall be released on April 15, 2022.
In comparison to this, the result of the SSC CHSL 2019 skill test is pending to be released on February 28, 2022. The results for SSC MTS 2020 paper 1 and Stenographer 2019 skill test are going to be announced by February 28, 2022, and March 10, 2022, respectively. The commission is expected to announce the SSC JE 2020 paper 2 on February 23, 2022.
Although chances are feeble it may happen that these results may be postponed subjected to the delay of the SSC CGL 2019 final result. However, the commission may delay the result, owing to the current circumstances.
