By the first week of October 2018, the Staff Selection Commission is expected to release finally the exam dates for SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1. Sources claim the reason behind this delay is due to the authorities figuring out a solution to the shortage of test centers for this exam. The authorities are yet to confirm the exact date on the official website, along with other related information on this event. As per the SSC Examination Calendar, the last exam was conducted that of Combined Higher Secondary Exam, 2017 Tier 2 level, which was a descriptive type paper on July 15, 2018.
Staff Selection Commision Combined Graduate Level Exam, popularly known as SSC CGL has already ended its application process over ssc.nic.in. This examination will be conducted in the computer-based mode for recruiting suitable candidates to various ministries or government departments.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam questions will be asked in multiple choice type and each candidate will be given 60 minutes to attempt all the 100 questions of 200 marks. This CBE will cover questions from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude.
All those who fulfill the basic eligibility norms, as specified by the authorities were invited to apply online for this Group B recruitment exam, before June 5, 2018 (payment via online mode) and June 7, 2018 (payment via challan). Candidates who have filled and submitted their applications before the last date will be able to download the admit card for the Tier 1 level. SSC CGL 2018 admit card is said tentatively to be released by a week prior to the scheduled CBE. For recruiting various applicants, SSC CGL recruitment entrance exam is conducted in 4 tiers. One must appear and qualify for each of these tiers by securing the minimum category based marks, specified by the Staff Selection Commision.
