The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the revised results for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) CBT 1 examination. Candidates can check the revised results from the respective regional websites. The shortlisted candidates will now have to appear for CBT 2. However, the official date for CBT 2 has not been announced and will be done in due time.
As per the reports by several media, the examination for the second stage of RRB NTPC exam will tentatively be held in May 2022. The exams for each pay level are going to be conducted within a reasonable gap. The roll numbers for CBT 2 will be the same as that of CBT 1.
About CBT 2
RRB will conduct separate CBT 2 for each of the 7th CPC levels, i.e. levels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. All posts that fall within the same level of 7th CPC will have common CBT 2. The examination will be held for a duration of 90 minutes. For eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe, the duration shall be 120 minutes.
Exam Pattern
A total of 120 questions will be asked in RRB NTPC CBT 2. These questions are divided into three subjects namely General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The subject-wise question break-up is given in the table below.

This table is only indicative and there may be variations in the actual question paper. Each question will be of 01 mark but there will be a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer. The questions will be of objective type nature.
