RRB NTPC Admit Card 2020-2021 OUT! Link activated to download e-call letter at RRB Websites – FULL DETAILS

RRB is conducting RRB NTPC exam in phases. The phase 1 of exam is from December 28 to January 13, 2021. Railway NTPC admit cards released for the candidates.

Indian Railway has released RRB NTPC admit card 2020-2021. It has been released on the official regional website of 21 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). All the candidates who received NTPC exam date in phase 1 can download hall ticket from today onwards. RRB is releasing NTPC admit card 4-5 days before the exam date. Hence, for now, the admit card is only available for those candidates who have exam on December 28. Tomorrow, admit card for December 29 exam will release, so on and so forth.

Earlier, in a notice, RRB announced that candidates could check their RRB NTPC exam date and city 10 days before the starting on NTPC exam. It also indicated that downloading of admit card shall begin 4 days before the exam. Hence, it was expected that RRB NTPC admit card 2020 will release on December 24 onwards. However, it has been released a day before on December 23, 2020.

To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website of the respective RRBs and then look for “City Intimation (along with Free Travel Authority for SC/ST Candidates) and e-Call Letter” link, under CEN 01/2019. On clicking the link, a new login appears on the screen. Candidates can access it by entering registration number and password (date of birth). Following this, candidates can download pdf for RRB NTPC admit card from the dashboard.

Admit card of RRB NTPC 2020-2021 is an important document. Candidates must carry it on the exam day. Along with the admit card, candidates also have to bring a valid photo id (in original), COVID-19 self-declaration form, and a face mask. A valid id proof can be voter card, aadhaar card, printout of e-aadhaar, driving license, pan card, passport, id card issued by the employer, or college / university id card.

COVID-19 self declaration form can be downloaded with the hall ticket, from the login.

RRB NTPC stage 1 CBT is being held in phases. The phase 1 of the exam is on 28, 29, 30, Dec 2020 and 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 Jan 2021. In phase 1, RRB is taking the test for around 24 lakh applicants. Exam dates for rest of the candidates shall be out soon. It is expected that there shall be multiple phases for RRB NTPC and in all arounds around 23-24 lakh candidates will be accommodated.

In total, approx 1.25 crore candidates applied for RRB NTPC UG / PG recruitment. NTPC CBT 1 is just the first stage of selection. It is a 90-minute exam in which candidates have to solve 100 MCQ questions. All the questions in the exam shall be of 1 mark each and will be asked from mathematics, general intelligence & reasoning, and general awareness. Negative marking of 1/3 marks is applicable in the exam.

Only those candidates shall qualify CBT 1 who will score more than 40% marks in the exam. However, the minimum qualifying marks for OBC-NCL and SC candidates is 30%, for ST candidates it is 25%.

Besides RRB NTPC, RRC Group D recruitment is another major railway recruitment, for which more than one crore candidates have applied. It is expected that dates for RRC Group D (RRC 01/2019) will be announced soon. The exam is expected to be held in April 2021.
