The exam pattern of the Group D Exam for September 22, 2018, was as usual. There were 4 sections namely Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness & Current Affairs. These sections had a total of 25 number of questions in Section A, 30 in Section B, 25 in Section C and 20 in Section D.

In mathematics, other questions were asked from Simple Interest and Compound Interest, BODMAS (4 to 5 questions ), HCF, percentage based questions (3 to 4), 2 Train related questions which are said to be quite easy to solve, and Mensuration questions were also included. The overall difficulty level of the mathematics section was easy to moderate.

Analysis of the General Awareness and Current Affairs Section

Now, as per the candiadtes, the questions asked in this section were from FIFA 2017 World Cup, the location of Gateway India, Visit of Ivanka Trump in 2017 related question, the full form of NITI Aayog, Kalidas award related question, Tamil Nadu wind project-related question, SEBI related questions etc. The overall difficulty level is of General Awareness and Current Affairs said to be moderate.

Analysis of the General Science Section

This section had questions from biology, chemistry and mathematics like the questions related to the periodic table, PH levels in Chemistry. From Biology, bones and cells related question was asked and in Physics, questions from   Gravity were included. The overall difficulty level of this section is said to be moderate.

Analysis of the General Intelligence and Reasoning

In this section, the questions from calendar, mirror image, blood relation, Venn diagram, Assumption, Number series, Direction, Conclusion and coding-decoding were asked. Overall difficulty level was moderate.

In addition to that, all the questions were from the syllabus and no unusual elements were noticed in the question paper.
