The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released official notification regarding Inner Line Permit (ILP) for candidates belonging to states other than Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Nagaland. Inner Line Permit is an obligatory document needed to gain inward travel rights in order to appear for Computer Based Test (CBT) of CEN 02/18 (Level-1 posts) held under RRB Group D recruitment. ILP Mizoram and ILP Nagaland can be obtained from Liaison Officers. The ILP for Arunachal Pradesh is available either online at arunachalilp.com or from the different liaison offices.
ILP Mizoram, ILP Arunachal Pradesh, and ILP Mizoram are also made available at airports and railway stations of these places, upon entering, to the candidates of other states. Inner Line Permit for RRB Group D CBT (Level-1 posts) is issued by the Government of India solely for entry purposes in the notified protected areas. It is as important admit card of RRB Group D.

All those candidates traveling to the city of Mizoram to take their RRB Group D CBT for Level 1- posts must get respective Inner Line Permit from the following liaison offices. These will be issued as temporary ILP till the time of RRB Group D CBT is over. The offices that will issue ILP for Mizoram are located at- Kolkata, Silchar, Shillong, Guwahati, and New Delhi.

Why is Inner Line Permit is Important?
Inner Line Permit (ILP) is issued by the Government of India to all those people traveling to protected areas of India. For now, ILP is operational and required in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Nagaland. ILP stands as an official travel document indicating that a person has the permission to enter these said states. Any out of state candidate (other than the above-mentioned) failing to attain his / her individual ILP for RRB Group D CBT, provided the centre for exam falls in any of the three, will NOT be allowed to sit for the examination.
