A really large number of candidates have applied for RRB Recruitment 2018. For ALP and Technician, the number of applicants is 47 lakh. For Group D, the figures are even higher. Believe it or not, the total number of applicants for RRB Recruitment 2018 is 2.37 crores.
It is practically speaking not feasible to accommodate many students in one city as not all cities are equipped to handle so many computer-based test centres.
Until a few years ago, recruitment exams used to be pen and paper. Their centres could be any school or college. But now with computer-based tests, centres have to be identified that can hold these tests.
Moreover, with increasing number of security concerns in recruitments, and Railway Recruitment being so popular, extremely strict measures need to be taken at the centres.
With this in mind, Railway Recruitment Board will initiate strict security measures including installing CCTV cameras at centre.
