The Odisha State Council of Education Research and Training has released the admit card and exam schedule for CT, B.Ed 2018. The admit card is available online only and can be downloaded from samsodisha.gov.in. The B.Ed (Arts ) Exam will take place on 7th & 8th August 2018, whereas B.Ed (Science) will conduct on 8th & 9th August 2018.
The admit card for CT, B.Ed 2018 was made available for download on August 01, 2018, 11:00 AM. To download the admit card candidates have to enter the application number and password as received during the registration process. Once you have downloaded the admit card, you will find details like candidate’s name, date of birth, category, gender, test venue, test timings etc.
It is advisable that you reach the examination venue one hour before the scheduled timings. Moreover, candidates will not get the entry after the gate closure timings. Thus, schedule your travel plans accordingly and reach the exam center on time.
On the examination day, it is mandatory that you carry the hard copy of CT, B.Ed 2018 admit card along with the identity proof. Thus, aspirants must co-operate with the invigilator and show the required documents before entering the exam hall. Most importantly, check if the photograph printed on admit card is clearly visible and similar to an actual photograph. If not, then carry one passport size photograph and give it to test administrator for authentication.
After the examination, it is required that you preserve the admit card until the completion of admission process. It will be needed during the counseling and further admission rounds.
Once the exam is over, the SCERT Odisha will release the Answer Key at the official website. It will release for all the courses set wise. After the release of the provisional answer key, the final key will also release in a few days. The latter key will release if there are any doubts raised in the answers provided by the exam conducting authority.
Finally, the board will also release the CT, B.Ed 2018 Result online at the SCERT official website. You will need to check the result after entering the valid application number. The board will also release the merit list to conduct the counseling for admission in a new academic year.
For admission in CT, B.Ed 2018, there is 50% reservation for reserved category students. The reserved seats cover SC, ST, and SEBC candidates. For B.Ed the total seats reserved are 229, 317, and 159 for SC, ST, SEBC respectively.
