The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) successfully conducted the RRB NTPC CBT-1 Examination 2021 from December 27, 2020, to July 31, 2021, in seven different phases. After a year-long wait, the results for RRB NTPC CBT-1 Examination have been released by the RRB today on January 14, 2022. The RRB NTPC CBT-1 Examination 2021 was a computer-based test containing only multiple-choice questions. It was conducted in 7 different phases thus allowing more than 1 crore candidates to appear for the test.
The question paper consisted of 100 questions that had to be solved within 90 minutes. Each question carries +1 mark and for every wrong answer, ⅓ rd mark was to be deducted. The results along with a cutoff list will be provided on the official RRB websites. Based on this cutoff list, it will be decided whether a candidate can appear for further rounds or not.

To download their results smoothly, aspirants can follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1. Visit the authority website of RRB Chandigarh region by clicking on, rrbcdg.gov.in.
Step 2. This link will direct candidates to the homepage. On the homepage and under the “Latest Notification” section, candidates can find a link for “RRB Chandigarh NTPC Result 2021”, click on this.
Step 3. An authentication page will appear on the screen where candidates will be asked to enter the login credentials including the RRB NTPC Roll Number and their Date of Birth. After entering the details, click on “Submit”.
Step 4. The result will automatically pop up on the screen and an option for downloading it in a PDF format is also available.
Step 5. Candidates are advised to take a hard copy of this result for future reference.

After the release of results, candidates have to check their scores and compare them with the cutoff list to check whether they have qualified or not.
Cutoff marks for various categories are released and based on the previous year’s analysis, the number of candidates who appeared, and the level of difficulty of the examination, a rough prediction can be made. Below mentioned is a table containing expected cutoff marks based on the category of the candidate. As the number of candidates appearing won’t change, the table is based on the level of difficulty of the examination.
Qualified candidates have to start preparing for the RRB NTPC CBT-2 Examination which will be held from February 14, 2022, to February 18, 2022. Results for this will be released one month after the examinations have been conducted. Candidates who successfully clear the RRB NTPC CBT-2 Examination will then be called for verification of documents and physical examination. Candidates who fail to qualify the RRB NTPC CBT-1 Examination can try in the next 2022 edition of the examination.
